Two of my sisters-in-law are expecting babies this coming summer. We are way excited because the kids only have TWO cousins! For what it’s worth, the cousins are so darling and such cute characters, we wouldn’t give them up for ten cousins.
Duncan: He is such an interesting character. He is extremely bright and fun. He has the biggest head and eyeballs you have ever seen, and they look even bigger because he is so small! But don’t get me wrong, he is so cute, as the picture will attest. He loves to follow Aidan around and get a little violent with him when he gets excited (ya know, he’s trying to bond and do the boy thing!). He loves it when we come to visit because he lives with four adults and no little people. He calls them his “customers”. His world just might come crashing down when his sibling arrives in August–or he might be the best big brother! One memory I have of Duncan is two Christmases ago, he decided to annoy his parents by waking up in the middle of the night and yelling, “MEAT!” He was hungry, and wouldn’t go back to sleep until he had a couple slices of lunchmeat. We love him!
Ahnna: She is Duncan’s alter ego. For as active and high-maintenance as he is, she is as mellow as they come. I have never had a baby as good as Ahnna, and it’s not fair how extremely mellow and easygoing she is. She is a beautiful baby. We can’t wait until she grows up a little and gives her parents a hard time to make up for how easy they have it now.
