Jeans have been the balm of my existence, I love the look, but can never find a pair that flatter me. Jeans were designed for people with round bottoms and smaller thighs. I am the opposite, I have no bum and muscular, fatty thighs and have never had much luck with jeans. In fact, the jeans I do have some luck with are the WIDE LEG variety, and then I fit into them like they were the slim fit variety.
I will have you know, after much hype on a friend’s blog (this one’s for you Val) about a pair of jeans she fell in love with, and the resounding comments she received, how they all fit into these jeans beautifully, I made a special trip to hunt some down.
Needless to say, it is false advertising. The LONG AND LEAN GAP jeans neither make me look long or lean, in fact, they accentuated my monster thighs! So…the world is cruel and the search for the perfect pair continues…along with a lot more lunges and squats.
Bummer about the jeans! You’ll find your jeans someday!!!
PS I download the backgrounds from different digital scrapbooking websites and I make the banner in photoshop. I don’t know anything about wordpress but I think it looks great!
