Jeremy and I met at a church youth group party. He was actually pretty obnoxious. We had our first date on Valentine’s Day and married one year later. Summer (14), Aaron (13), Michelle (10), and Aidan (6) came along in quick succession. We lived in Oak Harbor for ten years where Jeremy was quite famous around town as THE Martial Arts instructor (so it was a really small town). He touched many lives through his fantastic teaching abilities and his kindness to all. We moved to Bellingham four and a half years ago so I could attend Western Washington University.
Jeremy now has a cushy computer job, one where he stays at home and sometimes works in his pj’s, and I have a Bachelor’s in Education and substitute when I feel like it. We stay totally busy with the kids’ schedules. Summer loves dance and is finally on pointe, her favorite are ballet and jazz. Aaron loves to socialize, but we try to keep him busy with sports. He plays soccer, football (this was his first year), and wrestling. Michelle is a soccer fanatic and I do believe she dreams soccer. She is quite good and surprises people because she is so small, yet so quick and capable for her size. Aidan, our baby, loves video games! He hogs the TV all day long, but he does like soccer and wrestling.
As a family, we love vacationing, camping, swimming, movies, sports, and just hanging out at home. We especially love it when family comes to visit us.
